Opera 7.2

Posted by Lauryn at 09:10 AM on September 25, 2003 in Web discoveries.

Opera 7.2 was just released. I alternate between Opera and Mozilla Firebird. If I really like the site and can't be viewed by those browsers, I have no choice but to use Internet Explorer. What's your favorite browser?

currently using opera 7.11, but mozilla 1.3 and i.e. 5 (or is it 6? i never pay attention) is also installed, so i can cross check browsers when i create new sites.

i've been hearing about mozilla firebird from my friends alot.. is it really that good? how's it different from the other moz browsers and opera?

I really like firebird but some css filters don't work with it.

I usually go by Internet Explorer, it's mostly a matter of convenience. If I were to have my own computer though I would try to install those other browsers as well.

Im just familiar with IE and Netscape, and I hate Netscape!
But I think maybe I should try Opera and Firebird
Btw, why do you like them better than explorer?

Internet Explorer didn't follow webstandards for quite some time till mozilla , Opera etc came out. And not to mention worms or virus that one could download from IE.

I use Mozilla Firebird. I'm pretty happy with it so I never felt the need to try out Opera :p. I still have to use IE6 though to view some sites, like all those doll maker ones.

My favorite browser is IE 6... it's the only one where I can drag up all the toolbars so that it's just a thin bar on the top... and my tabulas looks like crud in anything but IE, anyway =X (I tested it on Netscape and Firebird ^-^)
