JU-ON:The Grudge

Posted by Lauryn at 07:34 AM on December 1, 2003 in Reviews.

What do you get when you have the screenwriter of the Ringu trilogy, a macabre atmosphere, an eerie musical score, a haunted house, a father driven mad with jealousy and rage, and a murdered mother-and-son duo out for revenge—all in one movie? Just read the movie review of JU-ON:The Grudge which I wrote for the school ezine, Guidon altG. And watch it if you want to scare yourself.

Caroling

Posted by Lauryn at 07:08 AM on December 18, 2003.

Last night, a choir from a certain parish went over to our house and serenaded us with 7 Christmas carols that lasted 30 minutes or so. It was like listening to a mini concert except we watched them sing in our living room. They were excellent. It gave me that warm and fuzzy Christmas spirit.

expensive chocolate

The "Chocolate bar" is the newest place in Greenbelt 3 and as usual it was crowded.

We ended up buying Max Brenner pralines. These chocolates are so expensive. Four small chocolate squares cost 280 pesos or $5 . But look at them, it looks like work of art. I think I'll slice one square and nibble on it slowly.

Christmas Day

Posted by Lauryn at 08:50 PM on December 25, 2003 in Plug.

Check out my Daily Grind. My cousins came over and we pretty much spent the entire day eating, opening presents, and hanging out.

My aunt Lorna is spending Christmas thrice...in the Philippines, airplane and then Hawaii. She left at around 4:00 PM. Lucky.
