Gmai invites in ebay . How insane. As of now there are about 130 invitations being sold and this auction is up to $168 Dollars right now!

If their purpose is to reserve usernames, they are wasting their money.

You know when I first signed up, it said "lauren" was not available so I used my other nick. Just today, I emailed the lauren username and guess what, mail undelivered.

Maybe gmail is holding on to the popular usernames. Just a thought!

But yeah, I love the web interface of gmail!

Edit: I just found out that Google blocked off common first names and last names. Those are often targeted for spam and viruses.

Random readers here are asking me for free invites to a gmail account. I should make this clear....I have never received any free gmail invites from my account. PERIOD. A few days ago, I wrote " google mail feedback" about it and here is their reply:

TONIGHT at 8/7c on FOX: Only 4 contestants are left.

I really like Jasmine Trias and I wish I could vote but duh, only Americans can vote. My aunts in San Francisco and an uncle in Ohio together with my cousins are willing to vote for me.

Awww, sweet...but I wonder if they will vote non-stop for 2 hours.
