ranting

The best thing about having a blog in Tabulas or Livejournal is that I don't receive spam comments. Gawd, the comment spammers are getting wise. Over at nimrodel.net, the spammers leave the link in the url box.

How annoying!

Another annoying thing is some visitors don't really read properly . Take for instance.

1. The gmail invites' entry over at my journal site and here continue to thrive . I have like over 200 email requests and not to mention the more than 200 comments asking for gmail. Eek, what have I gotten into? But can't they read that I don't have anymore?

2. Then the influx of Chinese signups at my webhosting business. After reading this review, this blog and this forum, I have surmised that they think I give out free webhosting. Okay , maybe they got lost in the translation but I don't think I wrote that I give free webhosting to NEW CUSTOMERS. DUH!!

I have more but I am too tired .

From the Office of the President

Remember my Godaddy sucks entry?

Well from the "Office of the President" (if he's really the one) of Godadddy found my entry and commented on it . *I'm soooo touched* Wahaha.

Here it goes:

"In an effort to keep you updated on this situation, the block has been removed from the Philippines IP range. There should not be a problem accessing the website or managing the customer account from "Lauren's" location at this point.

The Philippines IP range was originally blocked due to the immense amount of illegitimate activity coming from these IP addresses. While we do have purchase level protection in place, it was deemed necessary to implement these blocks as well. As the situation has been resolved, we have removed the block from the Philippines.

We constantly monitor the status of the other countries blocked and remove restrictions whenever and wherever possible. In cases where current customers are not able to access their accounts, we are always willing to assist them with moving their domains offsite if they choose to transfer to an alternate registrar.

The situation with the advertisement on the WHOIS listing is very out of date. WHOIS listings do not currently contain any extraneous information for domains registered through Go Daddy.
